Choosing an overseas surrogacy agency
Assess an agency through its contracting entity, partner clinic, contract costs and handling of problems. Each service should correspond to an identifiable organisation or responsible person.

Company, clinic and personnel
Establish the registered company name, contracting entity, payee and contact details. Confirm the treatment location, doctor, laboratory and communication arrangements directly through the clinic’s official channels. Distinguish coordination from medical services.
Contracts, quotes and independent advice
The contract should define services, included and extra items, payment stages and changes. Relevant counsel should explain rights, representation and conflicts of interest; clinical judgments belong to the clinic or doctor.
Cancellation, failure and delay
Ask who handles candidate withdrawal, unsuitable screening results, failed transfer, pregnancy complications and document delays, how communication works and what charges apply. Obtain written explanations consistent with the contract and retain payment and change records.
