Egg donor selection checklist
Public profiles help compare candidates; health assessment requires additional records. Keep personal preferences, health information and treatment arrangements separate when preparing questions.

Profile information and preferences
Note age, height, blood type, languages, education and photos of interest. Ask about missing information rather than inferring it from another field. Blood type, education and appearance describe different aspects; no one item determines clinical suitability.
Health information to discuss
Discuss medical and family history, infection tests, genetic risk assessment, reproductive examinations and previous cycle records with the clinic. Dates, test coverage and correspondence with the donor’s ID matter to interpretation.
Availability and next steps
After identifying candidates, ask about availability, further tests, clinic acceptance, consent and costs. The number of candidates depends on individual needs and circumstances, rather than a fixed clinical standard.
